Eco-Friendly G Wear Creates Equality T-shirts to Support HRC
G Wear, a Texas-based company has dedicated four pieces in their latest “Green for a Cause” line to support non-profit work, including the Human Rights Campaign. Proceeds from their State Equality and Love t-shirts will benefit the nation’s largest LGBT civil rights organization.
The “G” stands for “green” and represents G Wear’s commitment to the recycling of materials in order to help you “Live Green and Look Great.” Focused on living green and looking great, G Wear creates fun, fashionable and 100 percent unique recycled apparel and accessories. The Company collects unused t-shirts from local, regional and national organizations and businesses and recycles them into appliqués that are cut, glued and hand sewn onto each of its products.
G Wear keeps thousands of yards of fabric out of the landfills each year. All of G Wear's products are hand-assembled in the U.S., even down to its hang tags which are printed on recycled paper and attached with recycled string.
